This year, my daughter started her education by becoming a student in the Tuesday/Thursday class for 3-4 year olds at Good Shepherd Preschool.  She has enjoyed every minute!  Emma loves both of her teachers, classmates and the awesome activities she gets to do each day she attends.  We are so excited that she will be returning for the pre-k program next year.  In my own job, as a teacher, I see how amazing it is for students to loop with a group of students and have the same teachers.  Having a consistent program and teachers for two years in a row makes a big difference for kids in school.  I am so happy that Emma will have this opportunity as she continues her school experience. In addition to the great program structure, the teachers take the time to build connections with students and create safe learning environments for all students.  This was essential for our family as Emma has a nut allergy.  The level of comfort and trust we have for these caring professionals can only be described as excellent.  Leaving her at school is never a concern for us; we are confident that she is in the right hands.  This is truly a school to travel distances for.  How lucky we are to have found this ideal program so close by. - Jenn Roberge

Good Shepherd preschool is a wonderful place for your child to start their education. The teachers are wonderful! The environment is warm and caring. There are opportunities for parent involvement. I have had two children attend, and I am very happy with the program.

I think Good Shepherd Preschool is one of the best. It is a well rounded education program where the learning doesn't just end with the ABC's but they help the children become socially independent, repectful individuals. The teachers are there for the kids and the parents, you really are a part of a family.

My son is in Kindergarten now, but his first two school years were spent at Good Shepherd Preschool in Jericho from age 3.5 to 5 where his confidence level greatly increased and his social skills expanded. I can’t thank the Program Director/Head Teacher, Susan Ruess, enough for her dedication to the school and her nurturing of the kids. My son’s intellectual and emotional development was obviously a priority to Susan and the other teachers. I witnessed the kids reciprocating the love they received back to the staff at the school. Our favorite preschool has been Good Shepard Preschool in Jericho, VT. My daughter really loved it there and is jealous that her younger sister is going to go there soon. Susan Ruess, the head teacher, puts the children first and combines a good balance between fun and learning.
